Expert property team secures £32 million in sales for clients

THE expert team behind one of Cumbria’s most successful property businesses have secured £32 million in sales for home owners in just two years.

The significant sum was achieved by Penrith-based Fine and Country on behalf of clients selling a wide range of unique or individual homes across the area.

The properties ranged in value from £180,000 to £1.5 million.

Nick Miller, owner of Fine and Country North Cumbria, said the figure reveals property owners are continuing to opt for expertise and skillful marketing when it comes to selling their home.

“This is an outstanding result for the whole team, on behalf of our clients across Penrith, the north Lakes and Eden Valley,” he added.

“We launched Fine and Country in Penrith just four years ago, but home owners quickly understood our approach and had confidence in our ability to market their property in the right way to secure a sale.”

Fine and Country is a national and international brand with over 300 offices specialising in unique homes and individual properties.

Nick and his wife Helen established the business in Penrith in 2015. They sold property to the value of £17.6 million in 2017, rising to £20.2 million last year.

They have since expanded into Carlisle to introduce a new offering to the property market in the city.

The couple, who have run Eden Estate Agents since 2005, are keen to dispel any notion that Fine and Country deals only in large, expensive homes with an accompanying high price point.

Included among the properties sold through the business since its launch are a broad range of sizes and styles, explained Nick.
